Endorsement of Sheriff Rob Maciol!

New York State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli has endorsed Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol in his bid for re-election.

“Rob is a sheriff for all of the people of Oneida County,” said DiNapoli. “He’s tough on crime and committed to keeping neighborhoods safe, and he’s always ahead of the curve when it comes to implementing new security measures, including the School Resource Officer program that places officers at the entrances of schools throughout the county.
He’s also been proactive in developing innovative programs to protect vulnerable populations, senior citizens and individuals facing mental health challenges. He’s a strong supporter of the Second Amendment while also supporting common-sense gun laws, and he’s an animal lover who developed and maintains one of New York’s first Animal Abuse Registries.
Rob is a former president and current Executive Committee member of the bipartisan New York State Sheriffs’ Association, where he works with the Governor and Legislature to improve state laws and policies that help create a safer state for all New Yorkers.
