Activists will gather for a peaceful rally and protest march in Sackets Harbor, NY, from 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 5, to demand the release of three children enrolled at Sackets Harbor Central School who were recently detained by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents and subsequently turned over to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers. The children and others detained in the raid have been transferred out of New York State and are awaiting deportation proceedings. Federal officials did not immediately confirm their whereabouts.
